SCHOOL CONTEXT

For this assignment we changed the context of the school by adding different elements in the picture that are not supposed to be there. I decided to change the cafeteria into a zoo-party. I took a picture of the cafeteria and then, in gimp, added the different animals and balloons etc..

THE CAR

I learned a lot from this assignment. I learned how photographers edit their models and make them look prettier. We edited the picture in gimp and I learned a lot of ways to improve a picture, like cloning or changing the levels and layers of a picture.

assignment #2 MACRO ;)

I used macro for this assignment because I really wanted to capture the details of an eye, that are often times not seen in photographs. I took a close-up picture of my sister's eye to really show the definition of the eyelashes and her glitter-mascara ;). Then I edited the picture in gimp to black and white with the focus on the pupil. I really like the effect of the blueish color in the pupil, that's why I chose it as my favorite.

ISO: 100
Aperture: f3.6
Shutter Speed: 1/39 sec.

here are some more pictures that i took and edited:

assingment #1 ANIMAL ;)

In this assignment I took pictures of my cat amy because I shot pictures for the animal-assignment. It was pretty difficult to get a good picture because it was snowing and she didn't really wanna be in the snow :p. I took her outside and threw snowballs at her, otherwise she wouldn't move. I like the picture I chose as my "bestest picture" because it brings out her eyes and the snow makes a good background, and that's what I wanted to accomplish.

ISO: 100
Aperture: f3.3
Shutter Speed: 1/810 sec.

Gimp assignment #1

This assignment is called "pop-art".
It was popular in the late 1950's.
Basically you create the same picture four times, only in different colors, it makes it look cool :) .
We edited the picture in gimp, to create "pop-art".
